Call It Even

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-25

This Cookie Policy explains how Level Up Softwares (“Call It Even,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and web app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you agree to our use of cookies as described here and, where required by law, after you have given consent through our cookie banner.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices, and to provide information to site owners. We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage (which store data in your browser), pixels, and software development kits (SDKs). In this Policy we refer to all of these as “cookies.”

Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them). They may be set by us (first-party) or by a third party providing a service to us (third-party).

Note: our native mobile apps generally do not use browser cookies. Instead they use device storage and SDKs for similar purposes, such as keeping you signed in and collecting analytics and diagnostics, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • keep the website secure and make it function properly, including keeping you signed in;
  • remember your settings and preferences;
  • understand how the website is used so we can measure and improve it; and
  • detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

Category Purpose Examples Consent required?
Strictly necessary (session) Enable core functions such as signing in, maintaining your session, security, and load balancing. The website cannot work properly without these. Authentication/session token, security and anti-fraud cookies, CSRF protection. No (exempt) — always active
Preferences (functional) Remember choices you make, such as language, region, display settings, and whether you have dismissed certain notices. Language/locale preference, theme setting, cookie-banner choice. Yes
Analytics (performance) Help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are visited and how the Service performs — so we can improve it. Used in aggregate where possible. Privacy-conscious analytics identifiers, usage and performance measurement, error/diagnostic logging. Yes

We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or share information collected through cookies for advertising purposes. If this changes, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us, such as our analytics and error-logging providers, and authentication providers (Google and Apple) when you choose to sign in with them. These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control cookies set by third parties.

5. Your Choices and How to Control Cookies

Where required by law, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies (preferences and analytics) through a cookie banner before they are placed, and you can accept or decline each category. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the Service cannot function without them.

You can manage cookies in several ways:

  • Cookie banner / settings: use our cookie banner or the “Cookie Settings” (or “Your Privacy Choices”) link to review and change your choices at any time.
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Refer to your browser’s help pages. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website from working properly.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): where applicable, we honor opt-out preference signals such as GPC sent by your browser.
  • Mobile devices: you can manage analytics, advertising identifiers, and tracking permissions in your device’s privacy settings.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no industry-standard response to DNT signals; we describe how we respond to recognized opt-out signals such as GPC above.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you.
